No. We are based in North Yorkshire, England. However, by using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in nearly any location; either local, national or internationally based.
How long does it take to have a web site designed and made ‘live’?
The time it takes to design a website varies significantly depending on the complexity of the development. A relatively basic website can usually be made live within two weeks and for e-commerce or more complex websites it is generally around four weeks from the initial consultation.
What is a domain name?
A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose to use to point at your website. An example is ‘e-dev.co.uk’, which is our domain name. It is possible to use more than one domain name for your website and we can register domain names for you.
II already have a website and domain name but would like to have this redesigned by e-Dev. Is this possible?
Absolutely. We can arrange for the transfer of your domain name and also transfer your current website content if required.
Can I choose you to design my site and use my own web hosting?
For most websites, yes. Though prices may vary slightly.

Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. We offer web hosting for all of our clients. We can combine this with site maintenance if required.
What is site maintenance?
Maintenance is a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Both website visitors and search engines appreciate fresh website content. We can combine this with web hosting if required.
Will my website automatically appear in Internet search engines?
Your website needs to be submitted to search engines once the site is launched. We do this manually for all of our customers as this is the most effective method.
